Who is the exhibition audience?
The primary audience is undergraduate architecture students. While others may engage with the exhibition, it is not pitched at fellow scholars or at professional practice audiences.
Can the exhibition be adapted to local contexts?
Yes. Hosts are encouraged to develop student-focused programming, such as lectures, workshops, seminars, or studio activities, that engages with the exhibition’s themes.
What can the grant be used for?
The grant may be used for printing and installation costs, and to support educational and public programming connected to the exhibition, including (but not limited to) events, workshops, guest speakers, teaching activities, or related logistical and venue costs.
Who is eligible to apply for a grant?
Applications are welcome from architecture programmes in Horizon Europe countries and in the Global South.
Who can submit an application?
Applications may be submitted by an individual researcher or on behalf of a school. Individual applicants are encouraged to indicate that they have institutional agreement or support for hosting the exhibition and its associated programming.
Can applicants collaborate with others?
Yes. Applicants may collaborate with colleagues, partner institutions, or invited contributors. All collaborations should align with the exhibition’s educational focus on architecture students.
Is there an application template?
No. There is no fixed application template.
What information should the application include?
Applications should clearly outline:
- Information about the applicant and any institutional affiliation
- Details of any collaborators or partner institutions
- A brief plan for hosting the exhibition, including its format and intended student audience
- A clear explanation of how the €4,500 grant will be spent
How long should the application be?
There is no prescribed length. Applications should be concise and sufficiently detailed to demonstrate feasibility and alignment with the exhibition’s aims.
